Flight & Transportation
In order to get to Madrid, the quickest way is to fly directly to Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport.

Once you arrive at the airport, there are different ways to get to the city center of Madrid.
-
Taxi: ~20-30 Minutes with a fix prize of 33€
-
Uber: ~20-30 Minutes (Prize varies on demand, but normally cheaper than the Taxi)
-
Subway ("Metro"): ~30 Minutes to Nuevos Ministerios
There is a direct subway to the Station "Nuevos Ministerios" which is located in the center of Madrid. From there you have access to other subway and bus lines or to taxis/Ubers. To use the subway, you need to purchase a red metro card on one of the vending machines at the subway station. If you want to explore Madrid in public transportation (we recommend that!), it makes sense to buy 10 rides ("10 viajes") which you can then also use for the buses. The prize to get from the Airport to Nuevoes Ministerios and further 9 rides with public transportation is ~12 €. The subway is open from 06:00 am to 01:30 am.
